Vivien began her career in public procurement at DSTA, where she supported MINDEF in establishing period contracts through strategic sourcing and consolidation efforts. She then moved to MPA, where she handled procurement to serve the organisation’s needs, ranging from events to construction contracts (such as Tuas Port Development). In MPA, she implemented an e-Procurement system to digitalise manual procurement processes. She is currently seconded to MOF, where she first started in GPFO Policy Unit and worked on initiatives to streamline and improve procurement policies. She is currently in the Digital Transformation Unit, working with a team to refresh the current GeBIZ and to enable digitalisation of a seamless procure-to-pay experience.
